The contest Tesis en 3 Minutos, organized by the Campus Iberus consortium, poses to the participants the challenge to explain his investigation in three minutes, in an oral exhibition and with a simple language, intelligible and accessible to  all the public.

It can participate PhD with his thesis in advanced phase, enrolled in any university of Campus Iberus. Equally they can inscribe recent doctors of these same universities.

The participation values like activity of transversal formation (5 hours).

First Prize: Antonio Beltran Rosel, from the Universidad de Zaragoza

1st Special Mention: Marina Pérez Aliacar, from the Universidad de Zaragoza

2nd Special Mention: Luisa Velasquez Camacho, from the Universitat de Lleida

 

The final of the 2023 edition counted with next jury:

Presidee the Mgfc. Mr. Juan Carlos Ayala Calvo, rector of the Universidad de Zaragoza and president of Campus Iberus

Mr. Ferran Aixalà Pelegrí, screenwriter, clown teacher and actor

Ms. Concepción Aldea Chagoyen, professor of electronics, member of the RISArchers stand-up group at the Universidad de Zaragoza; finalist in 2017 of the FAMELAB scientific monologue contest and collaborator of the outreach program Aguero de Gusano, on Aragón TV.

Mrs. Anna Sáez Mateu, philologist and journalist, student of the Universitat de Lleida and current director of the newspaper Segre

Mr. Estanislau Fons Solé, coordinator of Communication, Diffusion and Press of the Universitat de Lleida

The final of the Tesis en 3 Minutos contest, organized by Campus Iberus, took place on November, Thursday 28th, 2019.

The PhD Erika Lorena Soto Chavarro, from the Doctoral Program in Agricultural and Food Science and Technology, won the segond runner-up award after carrying out a very good exhibition.

From the School we would like to express our gratitude to all the contestants who have participated in this contest, to the jury of the semifinal held at the University of Lleida and to Mrs. Soto Chavarro for his success.
