The contest Tesis en 3 minutos, organized by the Campus Iberus consortium, poses to the participants the challenge to explain his investigation in three minutes, in an oral exhibition and with a simple language, intelligible and accessible to  all the public.

It can participate PhD with his thesis in advanced phase, enrolled in any university of Campus Iberus. Equally they can inscribe recent doctors of these same universities.

The participation values like activity of transversal formation (5 hours).

There is a new edition of the contest Tesis en 3 minutos, organised by Campus Iberus with the collaboration on the Doctoral Schools.


The contest poses to the participants the challenge to explain his investigation in three minutes, in an oral exhibition and with a simple language, intelligible and accessible to  all the public.
It can participate doctorandos with his thesis in phase advanced, enrolled in any university of Campus Iberus. Equally they can inscribe recent doctors of these same universities.

There will be two eliminatory phases,  that will develop in Pamplona and Zaragoza on October, the 25th. The participants that surpass the eliminatory phase will be summoned to the final that will celebrate on November, 17th,  in the Universidad de la Rioja.

It will award a First Prize to the best communication of a thesis doctoral, endowed with 1.000€ and two Accesit of 600€ each one. 

From the Doctoral School  encourage you to consider your participation in this activity, whose term of registration is until September, the 30th, at 2pm.

Remember that the participation values like activity of transversal formation (5 hours).

In November, the 24th, tooke place the final of the contest Tesis en 3 minutos, in live through the Campus Iberus YouTube's chanel, with next winners:

First Prize: : Leyre Catalan Ros, from the Universidad Pública de Navarra

1st Special Mention: María Samper Marco , from the Universidad de Zaragoza

2nd Special Mention: Alicia Muro Llorente, from the Universidad de La Rioja

 

The final of the 2021 edition counted with next jury:

Presideed the Mgfc. Mr. José Antonio Mayoral Murillo, rector of the Universidad de Zaragoza i president of Campus Iberus

Mr. Javier Armentia Fructuoso, astrophysicist and scientific disseminator, director of the Planetarium of Pamplona

Ms. Marta Magriñá Contreras, graduate in Geography and History, director of the Library of the Univesidad de la Rioja

Ms. Esther Pujolràs Noguer, PhD in English Philology, professor and coordinator of the PhD Programme in Territory, Heritage and Culture of the Universitat de Lleida

Mr. Miguel Ángel Esteban Navarro, Phd in Contemporany History,  professor of comunication in the Universidad de Zaragoza and coordinator of the Degree in Journalism.

 

Representing the Universitat de Lleida were:

Ms. Marta Corral Pujol, from the PhD Programme in Health

Mr. Pablo Fernández Cancelo, from the PhD Programme in Agricultural and Food Science and Technology

Ms. Vivian Medina Hernández, from the PhD Programme in Law and Business Administration

The final of the Tesis en 3 minutos contest, organized by Campus Iberus, took place on November, Thursday 28th, 2019.

The PhD Erika Lorena Soto Chavarro, from the Doctoral Program in Agricultural and Food Science and Technology, won the segond runner-up award after carrying out a very good exhibition.

From the School we would like to express our gratitude to all the contestants who have participated in this contest, to the jury of the semifinal held at the University of Lleida and to Mrs. Soto Chavarro for his success.
